  • Couple looked into buying a home in the city, but found that they were unable to afford anything on their salaries 
  • Instead, the pair decided to buy a custom-built miniature home mounted on top of a trailer for $80,000
  • Home has bedroom, lounge, kitchen, bathroom and $15,000 of solar panels allowing them to live fully off the grid
