How do you tow a tiny home? FAQ
Some of the most common questions people ask once they see our homes and especially the Denali is “How do you tow it?” “Do you need a semi?” “How much does it weigh?” The Denali (our largest model) weighs about 19k-21k lbs depending on size and features. It is a big home and quite a substantial load to move. However it tows properly with a one ton pickup. We don’t recommend anything less for safe towing. We personally use a Ford F450 for all our towing and usually when problems occur (such as the tragedy pictured above) it is usually because of a number of things including too small of truck, inexperience, inadequate brakes, or road conditions.
